Long-time Managing Director Thomas Gauch wishes to resign from office after 16 years.
As of July 1st 2021 Andrea Bizzi takes over the position as managing director.

Andrea Bizzi will take over the management of Chiesi Germany in Hamburg. After 16 years of leading the company, Thomas Gauch wishes to step down.

With Andrea Bizzi, the German affiliate is getting an experienced top manager from the headquarter in Parma. Bizzi has graduated in chemistry and pharmaceutical technology, additionally he has two master's degrees and has been working at Chiesi's headquarter since 2003. After numerous internal positions, Bizzi took over the position of global Chief Marketing Officer in 2016 and contributed to continuous sales growth with innovative ideas and successful campaigns.
